Eligible customers with an annual household income less than £60,000, including first time buyers, those starting over after a relationship breakdown, or families who can prove they need the extra space, can apply for the loan. It is interest-free for the first five years and can be repaid when you have more funds available or come to resell.
With HomeBuy Direct a three-bedroom ‘Broadway’ home, usually costing £229,950, can be snapped up for an initial outlay of less than £160,965.
Alternatively if you already own a house that you need to sell, you could use it as part-payment for a luxury four-bedroom home at Willow Gardens, priced from £299,950. With part-exchange Redrow will effectively act as cash buyer for your existing home, in many cases making an offer on your house within seven days. You don’t have to worry about estate agent’s fees or getting stuck in a complicated housing chain.
