Take a 'Royal Trek' through Nepal this Easter

Take advantage of the three bank holidays this Easter – including the extra one thanks to Prince William’s nuptials – and head for Nepal to check out Walks Worldwide’s brand new Royal Trek, using up only four days of precious annual leave.
Back in the 1980's, William’s dad, HRH Price Charles, visited Nepal and undertook a short trek in the hills above the lakeside resort of Pokhara. Since then this has been known as ‘The Royal Trek’.
The Royal Trek is perfect for people not used to trekking as it is about as easy as hiking in the Himalaya gets - but the views are most definitely not compromised with three behemoth peaks over 8000 metres; Annapurna 1, mighty Dhaulagiri visible to the west and the massif of Manaslu to the east.
In fact the entire Annapurna range spreads out before you, including the iconic fishtail twin-summited Machhapuchre; big views for very little effort indeed.
From a base at laid-back, lakeside Pokhara there are also additional walks including the opportunity to witness the sunrise panorama from Sarangkot hill.
With low-altitudes throughout and easy walking, the Royal Trek is an ideal trek for anyone who may be short on time or not wishing to trek hard, but would still like to see uninterrupted views of the spectacular Himalayas.
The trip departs on Friday 22 April and costs from £845 pp (land only or £1595 pp including flights). Prices based on two sharing a room.
This includes 8 nights’ accommodation (6 nights’ hotels, 2 camping), domestic flights, porters, all transportation, most meals, camping equipment and a guide.
