Hailsham homebuyers can now picture themselves living in one of Redrow’s luxury new homes from the comfort of their armchair.

The housebuilder has produced a special film that is available to watch on its very own award-winning broadband television channel, Redrow.TV; giving viewers a sneak preview of its New Heritage Collection homes at Willow Gardens.

This short video clip gives buyers a taste of the style and specification on offer, taking the viewer on a tour around one of the beautiful show homes to showcase the modern interiors behind the traditional exteriors.

Beryl Williams, area sales manager for Redrow Homes (Eastern), said: “In our experience the internet is now the first port of call for many people searching for a new home. By giving them more to see of their chosen developments, we hope it will further tempt them to come and visit us on site.

“The film clip is just a small taster of what we have on offer at Willow Gardens. Viewers are taken inside the ‘Ruthin’ show home, which includes a convivial kitchen and dining room with patio doors opening out onto the rear garden, contemporary floor to ceiling units and top name appliances, a separate lounge, an additional family room and four generous bedrooms, including the master with en-suite.

“The video also serves as an informative guide to the stand out elements of our New Heritage Collection homes, filled with character features and inspired by the ’Arts and Crafts’ era.

“The next step for potential purchasers will then be to visit the development so they can see everything it has to offer first hand.”

Just as the Arts & Crafts movement of the late 19th and early 20th centuries grew from the desire to bring back the skill and creativity of the individual craftsman and revive the simplicity and honesty in the way buildings and furnishings were made, Redrow has deliberately set out to reintroduce a high degree of individuality to the way its homes look and feel.

One of the most popular and enduring of domestic architectural styles, the Arts and Crafts’ influence can be seen in many so-called ‘character’ homes from later periods, especially the 1920s and 1930s. External features which typify the era include dropped eaves, bay windows and timber or tiled canopies over doors and windows.

Alongside the Ruthin, buyers can also look around the professionally decorated and fully furnished ‘Stratford’ and ‘Cambridge’ show homes, which are both four-bedroom family homes.

Located on the A22, just eight miles from Eastbourne, about 25 miles from Royal Tunbridge Wells and a similar distance from Brighton, Willow Gardens is well placed as a base for commuters, but has plenty of amenities nearby in Hailsham itself.

Two, three and four-bedroom homes are priced from £187,950 to £325,950.

If you already own a house that you need to sell, you could use it as part-payment. With part-exchange Redrow will effectively act as cash buyer for your existing home, in many cases making an offer on your house within seven days. You don’t have to worry about estate agent’s fees or getting stuck in a complicated housing chain.

Some properties are available to purchase through the Government-backed help scheme HomeBuy Direct.
