Biggest Salon Privé yet takes shape

Salon Privé, the Luxury Supercar Event & Concours d’ Elégance returns for the 6th consecutive year in 2011 with its largest and most valuable collection of modern and classic supercars and luxury brands to date.
Joining the event for the first time is Land Rover who have confirmed that they will show the new Evoque three- and five-door and guests of Salon Privé will be amongst the first in the UK to get behind the wheel themselves, thanks to a new-to Salon Privé demonstration opportunity, at the manufacturer’s invitation.
2011 marks a return for Porsche with a 3 car display alongside such brands as Aston Martin, Bentley, Bugatti, Jaguar, Jensen, Lamborghini, Land Rover, Lexus, Maserati, Maybach, Mercedes-Benz, Morgan, Rolls-Royce Motor Cars, Tesla and Vermot. Other brands are soon to be announced.
In addition to the stunning display of modern super and luxury cars, the internationally renowned Concours d’Elégance sponsored by Chubb Insurance returns with seven new categories and a display of some of the rarest and most valuable motor cars in the world. Examples of this year’s categories include Ferrari 250 Competizione, Historic Grand Prix Single Seaters, Grand Routier, Oddballs, Motorcycles from the Steve McQueen era and a collection of stunning Rolls-Royce models to celebrate the 100 year centenary of the Spirit of Ecstasy.
Two big changes occur for Salon Prive in 2011. Firstly, the event relocates to the spectacular 200-acre Syon Park, the London home of His Grace, The Duke of Northumberland and secondly, the event moves forward into June (22nd – 24th) placing it right in the middle of the UK summer season events calendar.
Salon Privé co-founder, David Bagley, said: “We’re thrilled with the success of Salon Privé to date and remain committed to expanding and developing it, but without losing the fundamental exclusivity and intimacy that has made it so popular and so well established. As testament to this, we’re delighted to welcome so many new brands to Salon Privé for 2011.”
The 2010 Salon Privé was the most successful yet. Tickets sold faster than ever with the event sold out two weeks before it opened.
With more to see, a better location, greater accessibility and parking for those wishing to drive, after last year’s 3 day sell out event, the organisers once again anticipate extremely high demand for tickets. Tickets start from £175.00 + vat and are fully inclusive of Pommery Champagne, Lobster Luncheon and afternoon tea as well as full access to all areas. Tickets can be purchased via the Salon Privé website salonprivelondon.com.
