Easy holiday planning from BritainsFinest.co.uk
BritainsFinest.co.uk, the online guide to the best places to stay, eat and visit in the UK, has added a new ‘plan and share’ function to the website.
Anyone planning a weekend away can now save possible hotels to stay at, restaurants to try and places of interest to visit on days out, into a personalised My Britain’s Finest ‘folder’ – and then email the resulting shortlist to friends or family.
A List of Recommended Places on BritainsFinest.co.uk sent from… (the sender’s email address) arrives in the recipient’s in-box, along with any message from the sender.
Recipients can click through to BritainsFinest.co.uk to view full descriptions and pictures of the recommendations, and can email the sender with feedback.
“The guide recommends almost 2,000 places to stay from five-star hotels to luxurious B&Bs, over 450 places to eat and around 1,500 places to visit on days out,” says editor Will Blackwell.
“The new My Britain’s Finest feature makes it easy to save hotels or restaurants for future reference, as well as share plans with family and friends.”
Every hotel, cottage, restaurant, tourist attraction, museum, spa, gallery and stately home recommended by the guide’s team of experts is described in 150 words, with at least three pictures plus individual phone numbers, email and website addresses so users can enquire – and book – direct.
