You can still go to the Royal ball
Contrary to the rumours that London is already fully-booked for the Royal Wedding on the 29th April, Park Plaza Hotels & Resorts can confirm that there are still plenty of rooms available.
Whilst Visit London predicts that the wedding will attract more than 600,000 extra visitors to the capital and local residents are advertising their spare rooms for rent, Park Plaza reports that the city is far from booked up.
"We have no doubt that London hotels will all have 100% occupancy over the Royal Wedding weekend, but at the moment there is still plenty of availability. We'd hate potential visitors to miss out on such a historic event because there is a misconception that they are already too late to book," comments Greg Hegarty, the Regional General Manager UK of Park Plaza Hotels & Resorts.
"Those who are concerned about inflated rates should also know that Park Plaza's policy of great quality at affordable prices remains consistent, regardless of peak periods and high demand events."
Park Plaza Hotels & Resorts still has availability across its six London properties, where a three-night stay between 29th April to 2nd May costs from £219 per room per night and guests can enjoy being in the middle of the action. With central locations close to the wedding procession and some of the best views in London, Park Plaza Hotels will be amongst the most sought-after places from which to enjoy the festivities.
