Homebuyers in Gloucester looking for an easy and stress-free purchase of a new property will be able to take advantage of an Open Day at two of Crest Nicholson’s developments in Gloucester this Sunday (20 February).

The Open Days will give prospective buyers the chance to explore the stylish properties on offer under the EasyBuy scheme at Crest Nicholson’s Merchants Quay development in Gloucester Docks and its Whitstone Hundred development in Hardwicke. Visitors can speak to the developer’s award winning sales team for expert advice and support to help them buy their new property and discuss how EasyBuy can help them purchase their new home.

With EasyBuy, purchasers of the scheme have an opportunity to own 100 per cent of their new home at 85 per cent of the price, paying no rent or interest on the outstanding 15 per cent for the first five years. The EasyBuy scheme provides an excellent opportunity for homebuyers to buy their home whilst removing some of the initial financial burden, perfect for first time buyers trying to get a foot on the property ladder. The scheme means that homebuyers can secure a stylish one bedroom apartment in the thriving Gloucester Docks for just £93,458, and an attractive two bedroom home in Hardwicke for just £100,258.

Unlike similar schemes, with Crest Nicholson’s EasyBuy there is absolutely no rent to pay or interest accrued on the outstanding 15% of the property’s equity for the first five years. The remaining 15% is left outstanding as a loan for up to ten years secured by a second mortgage. The customer pays 0% interest fixed on the outstanding 15% for the first five years and only 3% interest pa (typical 3.00% APR) thereafter.

Merchants Quay, located in the historic Gloucester Docks, offers buyers a range of modern one and two bedroom apartments, which feature spacious open plan living areas, with the duplex apartments offering additional and contemporary mezzanine living space. In addition, many offer stunning waterside views, which provides the perfect backdrop to relax and unwind after a busy day. Perfect for first time buyers, the one bedroom Astern apartments provide a modern and bright living space that’s complimented by a waterside view off the living room, in addition to a parking space, currently available from £93,458 with EasyBuy. The one and two bedroom properties range from £93,000-£150,000 with EasyBuy, making it even more affordable to live in the heart of this regenerating city.

Whitstone Hundred, which is set in an enchanting location close to Gloucester city centre, the M5 and the glorious Gloucestershire countryside, offers first time buyers and families a choice of 200 fantastic properties. The EasyBuy scheme is available on the two and three bedroom houses at this development, available from £115,000-£170,000 with EasyBuy, which are built in a variety of sizes and styles to suit all types of buyer. Customers can now snap up a three bedroom Huntingdon property for £145,308 under EasyBuy, which is perfect for families; it offers a large living room that opens out directly onto the garden and has an open plan kitchen/dining area.

Amanda Benjamin, Sales Manager for Crest Nicholson, said: “We’re excited about our EasyBuy Open Days, as it’s a great opportunity for potential buyers to come and speak to our team and start making those all important steps to buying a new home. Our EasyBuy scheme at Merchants Quay and Whitstone Hundred allows purchasers to secure their desired home but alleviates some of the initial financial burden, in terms of a large deposit or high interest payments. Potential buyers should not hesitate and come and look round the properties available with our EasyBuy scheme.”
