Tailor Made Travel,  official sub-agent of Adventure World Travel, and a leader in luxury holidays to Australia, New Zealand and Canada, has unveiled a selection of travel packages to Rugby World Cup 2011, New Zealand.

Rugby World Cup 2011, the largest sporting Tournament ever staged in New Zealand, is expected to attract over 85,000 international visitors during the seven-week Tournament run between 9 September and 23 October, 2011. Demand for tickets and accommodation is likely to outstrip supply, but with travel package options available from Tailor Made Travel ranging from multi-centre itineraries to luxurious cruises - all include guaranteed tickets to the matches that count.

The Tournament will be the seventh Rugby World Cup and games will be spread across 13 different venues on both North and South Island. Tailor Made Travel is offering well-planned holiday itineraries allowing customers to combine their fix of sporting excellence with many of the wider region's signature sights and experiences. The programme comprises recommended tour options with the flexibility to allow customers to create an ideal itinerary from an extensive range of components and possibilities, including accommodation, transfers and, of course, tickets to the matches of their choice.

The suggested packages lead in with the 15-day Rucks, Mauls and Maoris itinerary, which costs from £2,099 per person. Starting with a three-night stay in Singapore (with city tour), the journey continues to New Zealand where tickets for three separate matches (including the England v Georgia qualifier) are provided. During this period, accommodation is arranged in a luxury campervan, which allows fans to travel between each game's venue in comfort and convenience. After all the excitement of the Rugby, there's a chance to relax with a three-night stay in Hong Kong on the way home. An alternate choice is The Auld Adrenalin, a 13-night trip with hotel accommodation throughout, stopovers as before, two sightseeing excursions and tickets to the England v Scotland match plus two quarter-finals. This option costs from £3,199 per person, with both prices including accommodation, transfers, excursions as specified in the itinerary and match tickets. International flights are not included.

Those with more time to spare might be tempted by the 35-night, round-the-world Jewel in the Crown itinerary, which allows sports fans to really get the most out of travelling to the other side of the world. After enjoying a stopover in Singapore, the itinerary takes in Australia's eastern seaboard with stops in Cairns and Sydney before continuing to New Zealand for Rugby World Cup 2011. Here customers will be able to catch two quarter-finals and two semi-finals during their 17-night stay, with accommodation in a campervan and ferry tickets between North and South Island also being included. Then it's on to Fiji for a relaxing stay in paradise before travelling home via a final pit-stop in Los Angeles. This veritable odyssey costs from £8,659 per person, to include accommodation and transfers, plus excursions and match tickets as detailed in the itinerary. International flights are not included.

For the more dedicated Rugby fans, Tailor Made Travel is offering incredible 5-star Rugby World Cup 2011 Finals cruise packages which will provide nothing less than the ultimate Rugby experience. The 7 cruise itineraries combine the comfort and relaxation of an ocean cruise with Rugby's Holy Grail - Category B match tickets to all RWC 2011 Finals matches. The 5-star cruise itineraries will take place on Holland America's luxurious ms Volendam, which has been exclusively chartered by Adventure World for Rugby World Cup 2011. What's more, to make the experience even more exquisitely special, the ship will be transformed into a Rugby paradise with Rugby-themed bars and on-board entertainment - as well as playing host to Rugby legends! Four stars of Australian Rugby; Nick Farr-Jones (RWC 1991 winning captain of the Australian Rugby team), Mark Ella (1984 Grand Slam Champion), Bob Dwyer (RWC 1991 winning coach) and Gordon Bray (‘The Voice of Rugby’ and Australia's leading sports commentator) will be resident on-board ms Volendam to share their insider knowledge and expertise with guests, helping to make each cruise an unforgettable occasion.

There are seven possible Rugby World Cup 2011 Finals cruise options to choose from. The RWC 2011 quarter-finals cruise from 4-10 October docking in Wellington for the week (7 days/ 6 nights from £3,103 per person). This allows passengers to experience the full excitement of the Tournament (with Category B tickets to two quarter-final games provided) alongside the 5-star comforts and amenities of the ship. This is followed on 10-17 October by the RWC 2011 semi-finals cruise (8 days/ 7 nights from £4609 per person), which sails from Wellington to the picturesque seaports of Lyttelton and Picton before docking in Auckland for two rounds of the semi-finals. The hottest ticket of all, however, is the RWC 2011 Finals cruise (8 days/ 7 nights from £5030 per person), a round-trip journey that departs from Auckland on Monday 17 October for the Bay of Islands and scenic Tauranga, before returning in time for the RWC 2011 Bronze Final and the climax of the entire Tournament, the RWC 2011 Final. Cruise packages can be taken separately, or combined to offer a complete Finals experience. Prices quoted include accommodation on-board the ms Volendam on full-board basis, based on two sharing; flights between Sydney and New Zealand (where applicable); airport to ship transfers; guaranteed Category B match tickets as specified; and Rugby World Cup 2011 supporter pack. Other international flights are not included in the price.
