Suzuki GB first to launch online accessory sales

Suzuki GB has become the first motorcycle manufacturer in the UK to offer its entire clothing and accessory range for online sale this month, taking the firms well-proven 'Wish List' system previously offered to customers a step further, with a full sales process handled completely online.

Working in association with the authorised Suzuki dealer network, the new online process enables customers to select their chosen product and complete the order with secure payment, before the item is shipped from the closest authorised dealer holding stock.

Wayne Dye, Suzuki GB General Manager, Parts & Accessories Division, was pleased to announce the new initiative, commenting, "Giving customers the opportunity to complete the sales process online has been our goal since we added the wish list functionality to our parts and accessory website a couple of years back. With this system we are able to keep our dealer network involved, but also speed up the delivery process by selecting the closest dealer holding stock. On top of this, soon to be added will be our 'in-store pick-up' option, where customers can select and pay for larger items and visit the nearest dealer for collection or to arrange fitment."

Suzuki's 2011 clothing and accessory range features no-less than 1252 items, and includes a comprehensive range of casual clothing, riding apparel, motorcycle accessories and many other unique products exclusive to Suzuki and its authorised dealer network.
