Homebuyers in Corby can discover the easy way to buy a new home, thanks to Redrow.

The award-winning home builder’s ‘easi:buy’ scheme enables purchasers to defer paying up to 15% of the price of selected properties at Oakley Vale. But with just 10 homes remaining those who want to take advantage of this valuable help should act fast to avoid disappointment.

Pauline Turnbull, sales director for Redrow Homes (Midlands), explained: “Designed to make homeownership more affordable, ‘easi:buy’ is the ideal way for first time buyers and others who may be struggling to find a mortgage to buy a brand new home. With ‘easi:buy’ purchasers should only require a relatively small deposit and could have access to some of the more favourable interest rates normally reserved for those with large deposits or substantial equity in an existing home.”

Prices at Oakley Vale start from as little as £108,995, and with ‘easi:buy’ available on selected two and three-bedroom homes the properties are even more affordable. For example, with ‘easi:buy’ customers with a deposit of £6,750 will only need to apply for a mortgage of £107,997 to purchase a three-bedroom ‘Fairwood’, on the market at £134,995.

The outstanding balance can be repaid at any time over the next 10 years when the purchaser has more funds available or when they come to resell.

The ‘easi:buy’ payment is subject to terms and conditions. Interest free for 10 years, the deferred element is paid back at market value at the time of payment.

All new Redrow homes boast fashionable kitchens with the convenience of integrated top brand name appliances, plus tall units and extra wide drawers that offer plenty of storage; while bathrooms are sleek and modern with quality fixtures and fittings.

Selected properties at Oakley Vale are ready to move into and, unlike some older, second hand properties, they won’t require lots of repairs and maintenance; plus thanks to built-in efficiency they’re potentially cheaper to run.

“It could cost up to £30,000 to bring an older three-bedroom property up to the same high standard as one of one of our new homes,” Pauline added. “With a brand new Redrow home you won’t have to worry about inheriting someone else’s decor or DIY disasters, but will enjoy the peace of mind of a 10-year ‘Buildmark’ warranty. Kitchen appliances are also brand new with two-year manufacturers’ warranties.”

Close to the countryside of Rockingham Forest, Oakley Vale offers its residents the best of both worlds with opportunities to enjoy the great outdoors close at hand and the amenities of Corby town centre just moments away.
