The next two days will be spent spotting the wildlife that the region is famous for, returning to the lodge in the evening for some serious R&R in the luxurious tented suites that face the Rufiji River.

The following morning, a local expert will escort you on a walking tour to get under the skin of the town known locally as Mji Mkongwe – the cultural and historical centre of Zanzibar.

The itinerary ends with a domestic flight from Stone Town back to Dar es Salaam.

This includes all transportation (domestic flights, 4X4, boat, car and minibus), park fees, private safari with shared game viewing, three nights at the Mivumo River Lodge, two nights at the Serena Inn, 5 breakfasts, 3 lunches and 5 dinners.
