With its peaceful surroundings and perfect location, Mr and Mrs Reid believe they’ve struck gold by securing a new family home at Miller Homes’ Ferryfields development in Dundee.

The couple picked up the keys to a three bedroom mews property last December, and with the help of Miller Homes’ professional sales team they quickly settled in to their dream home to enjoy an exciting and stress-free Christmas. Self-employed Barry, 32, explained how they were drawn by the development’s lush green areas and its easy access to both the city and the picturesque East Coast.

He said: “My wife and I were looking for the perfect location to raise our three-year-old son and as soon as we arrived at Ferryfields, we knew we were in the right place. We wanted to move to an area which was great for family living, but wasn’t too far from the city and Ferryfields ticked all the boxes.

“The bedrooms are incredibly spacious and we fell in love with the mews property instantly – we reserved it straight away. I’d recommend Ferryfields to anyone and we truly cannot say enough good things about our experience with Miller Homes. The sales adviser cannot do enough for us and even though we have now moved in, they’re always around the development, keeping me up date with all the latest news.”

Still available at Ferryfields are the four bedroom detached Conrad, and the Stanton – a three bed terrace house. With its attractive pillared entrance canopy, the Conrad offers buyers a property with superb attention to detail. Homeowners will be impressed by the double doors between the dining-room and the lounge, which allows you to create a single space running from the bay window at the front to the French doors at the rear of the home, and the magnificent gallery landing. The property’s two en-suite shower rooms will ensure that morning queues are a thing of the past.

As soon as buyers enter the Stanton, they will be attracted to its broad hall and inviting staircase, rising to a bright landing area. The lounge benefits from French doors opening out on to the garden, making the Stanton an impressive new home for parties, impromptu family gatherings and informal dining.

Anne Marie Britton, Sales Director at Miller Homes Scotland East, comments: “Buying a new home can be daunting, which is why it’s so important to Miller Homes that we are able to make it a happy experience, from start to finish. Ferryfields is ideally located for commuting, making it the perfect location for people looking to upsize or start a family.”

Miller Homes’ unique Home Exchange scheme, MiSwap*, is designed to help eligible buyers who are struggling to sell their existing home. Unlike other part exchange schemes in the market, buyers can trade up or down the ladder, swapping their existing home with a new Miller home - even if there is no difference between the value of the two.

Miller’s very own shared equity scheme, MiWay*, is also available on selected plots throughout the Ferryfields development. Those who take advantage of MiWay need only arrange a mortgage for 75 per cent of the property’s purchase price, as up to 25 per cent is covered by Miller Homes with a loan. MiWay offers first time buyers the chance to own 100 per cent of their home and there is nothing to repay for up to 10 years.

Prices for a three bedroom mews start at £169,500. For further information on the development contact the Ferryfields marketing suite, open 11am to 6pm daily, or visit millerhomes.co.uk.
