Brand new living opportunities will be on offer to Essex property-seekers with the opening of Taylor Wimpey’s Scholars Mews prestigious development of houses for sale in Braintree.

The first new homes will be released for sale later this month at Scholars Mews, Taylor Wimpey’s exclusive new development of property for sale in Braintree, Essex.

This select collection of just 13 three and four-bedroom houses in Braintree offers discerning property-seekers the chance to secure their very own slice of luxury living in a peaceful cul-de-sac within an established residential area.

The new homes have been carefully designed using materials which reflect the traditional architecture of this delightful location, while a thoughtful selection of native hedgerow and trees will be planted for new residents of the Braintree property development to enjoy.

Michael O’Leary, Regional Sales and Marketing Director for Taylor Wimpey, says: “We are thrilled to be able to launch these high-quality homes in a beautiful development within this established community of residential properties in Braintree.

“The spacious three and four-bedroom houses for sale in Essex at Scholars Mews will be particularly attractive to growing families and professional couples looking to enjoy a relaxed lifestyle in a well-connected location.

“Property-seekers should register their interest now to be among the first to receive the latest information.”

The first homes at Scholars Mews – which will include the popular ‘Tollerton’, ‘Bosworth’ and ‘Shalford’ house designs – are due to be released for sale later this month, while a stunning showhome is planned to open in April.

Scholars Mews is conveniently located in Deerleap Way just to the east of Braintree town centre, and is bordered by the highly successful Lyons Hall Primary School.

Within walking distance is a Tesco supermarket and the Marks Farm Community Centre, which offers pre-school facilities.

Footpaths and cycleways link to the town centre to the west and to the River Blackwater and picturesque countryside to the north.

Braintree itself is a bustling town which boasts a choice of schools for all ages, as well as a wealth of shops, restaurants and bars. Meanwhile Freeport designer outlet village on the outskirts of the town boasts about 90 stores offering designer stock at factory prices.

A host of leisure opportunities are available in Braintree, including a sports centre, a cinema and a bowling alley, plus the new Braintree Arts Theatre.

Two railway stations, Braintree and Braintree Freeport, are both just over a mile from the new homes, and offer regular services into London Liverpool Street in about an hour.

For commuters, the A12, the M11 and the M25 are all within easy reach, putting Colchester and London within a comfortable driving distance. Meanwhile, for international travel, Stansted Airport is just 19 miles away.
