New at UK theme parks for 2011
As all the major theme parks open their doors for the 2011 season and with the Easter and May half-term holiday fast approaching, what better way to enjoy a short break than combining it with a trip to a theme park to try out the latest new attractions?
This year sees a new Storm Surge at Thorpe Park, a Ben 10 ultimate mission ride at Drayton Manor and a new Sealife Azteca display at Chessington World of Adventures to name but a few. THORPE PARK - STORM SURGE
2011 see's the arrival of a brand new ride for thrill lovers, Storm Surge. Visitors can climb aboard a life raft and get in a spin on what is set to be the ultimate sky-high spinning water ride. It offers the chance to go round the twist and lose control on the jaw-dropping 64ft spiralling descent whilst trying to stay dry in the line of water cannon fire! Packages start from £155 per family of four staying one night at the Holiday Inn Express Slough with breakfast and including one day entry to the park for everyone.

DRAYTON MANOR - BEN 10 ULTIMATE MISSION THE RIDE
Opening in Spring 2011, Ben 10 Ultimate Mission the ride is themed around the popular 'Ben 10' television show. The premise of this family-friendly ride is that Ben needs visitors to stop Vilgax from stealing the Omnitrix and the only way is to board the "Mecha Vehicle"! Also New for 2011 is Marvin the Martian in the 3rd Dimension, an Out- Of- This World 4D experience.
A package costs from £144 per family of four staying one night in a family room at three star Travelodge Birmingham Fort Dunlop on a room only basis and including a one day entrance ticket to the park. Valid Sunday to Thursday from now until the end of August.

CHESSINGTON WORLD OF ADVENTURES - AZTECA
For 2011, Chessington World of Adventures will invite guests to get lost beneath the waves in Azteca. New for this year is a brand new SEA LIFE display featuring sharks, rays, and parrotfish in a lost civilization just waiting to be explored.

CAMELOT THEME PARK - BIRDS OF PREY AND ANIMAL CENTRE
Camelot Theme Park is opening a new Birds of Prey & Animal Centre for 2011. When Camelot re-opens visitors to the Park are in for a real treat when they visit King Arthur's new Birds of Prey and Animal Centre. There will be two spectacular flying displays every day where visitors can watch as these amazing eagles, owls, vultures and hawks take to the skies.
