Barclays launches new everyday banking videos online

Barclays has launched two new online videos, helping customers get to grips with all the essentials they need to know about their everyday banking for savings and mortgages.

Whilst in the throws of the main ISA season for 2011, Barclays has launched a new video giving customers a run down of an efficient guide to savings, predominantly focusing on ISAs. The three minute video is available to watch at barclays.co.uk/videos.

Presented by Andy Gray, Head of Mortgages and Savings at Barclays, the ISA video tells customers all the basics they need to know about maximising their tax-efficient savings with an ISA. As the ISA allowance increases in April for the 2011/12 tax year, customers are encouraged to take note to ensure they get the tax free returns that they are entitled to.

At the same time, Barclays has also launched a video about mortgages to help de-mystify the market, simplifying the basics that customers need to know. Again, presented by Andy Gray, the five minute video includes a "jargon buster" to help customers sort their LTVs from their APRs and enable them to make a fully informed decision when deciding what type of mortgage is right for them.
