Final opportunity to 'Move 4 Less'

Deals are available on a range of Redrow properties

House hunters in central Scotland have one last chance to ‘Move 4 Less’ thanks to a range of incentives from Redrow.

Deals, including discounts of up to £40,000 are available on selected properties at various locations for one weekend only (Friday, March 25 to Sunday, March 27).

Mary McHutchison, sales manager for Redrow Homes (Scotland), explained: “Our ‘Move 4 Less’ event in January was a tremendous success as it doubled the number of visitors to our developments to more than 200 in just one weekend. And with increased visitor numbers we also saw an increased sales rate. We’ve seen more potential customers since, who hoped to benefit from these amazing incentives and have decided to give house hunters a final chance to ‘Move 4 Less’ by repeating the offers.”

Depending on location and the property they want to buy, clients can choose a deal to suit their circumstances.

For example with Redrow’s ‘easi:buy’ deferred payment scheme customers can put off paying up to 20% of the asking price for 10 years. There’s also the chance to purchase a home that’s complete with furniture, an accessories pack and carpets fitted throughout. Alternatively purchasers may prefer to take advantage of a cash discount of up to £40,000. Other offers include a choice of stamp duty paid, £1,000 towards legal fees or turf to rear gardens.

The furniture packs include two leather sofas, a dining table and chairs, a double bed complete with mattress and bedding, a 72 piece kitchen set, kettle, toaster and even a vacuum cleaner.

Deals are available on various properties – from stylish apartments within easy reach of Edinburgh city centre, priced from as little as £98,000 with ‘easi:buy’, to five-bedroom family homes set in glorious countryside and coastal settings and on the market at up to £385,000.

“Location and affordability are key factors to consider when buying a home and with the stand-out range of apartments and family homes available across central Scotland we have something to meet the housing needs of almost every type of buyer. We don’t believe in ‘one size fits all’ and can tailor the incentives to suit the individual customer,” Mary commented.

“For example, cash discounts are a great prospect for growing families; while our ‘easi:buy’ scheme has been particularly popular with those getting onto the property ladder and accounted for half of all sales over the promotional weekend. Purchasers were also keen to take advantage of the offer of a furniture package and carpets throughout their new home, as it meant they wouldn’t have to worry about measuring up, organising removals or offending well intentioned friends and family wanting to hand down their cast-offs!”

Developments where the incentives are available include: Graemeslea in Aberuthven; Optima in Edinburgh; The Potteries in Prestonpans; Middlebank Rise, Dunfermline; and Pear Tree Park, Dalkeith in the east of the country and Riverside Point in Braehead; Route 1 West, Anniesland; Sylvan Brae, Inverkip; and Whitehirst Grange, Kilwinning to the west of Scotland.
