AXA adds new fund to Tailored Selection

AXA Wealth has announced that the Standard Life Investments Global Absolute Return Strategies (GARS) Fund has now been added to the Tailored Selection.

The Architas investment team continues to monitor the fund universe making sure the Tailored Selection offers investors the best potential investment opportunities. The team has chosen to recommend this fund to increase the choice of absolute return funds in the Tailored Selection.

The fund seeks to provide investors with the kind of returns that have historically been achieved from conventional long-term equity investment but with less uncertainty.

The fund manager utilises a combination of traditional assets (such as equities and bonds) and investment strategies based on advanced derivative techniques resulting in a highly diversified portfolio. The fund can take long and short positions in markets, securities and groups of securities through derivative contracts.

The Standard Life Investments Global Absolute Return Strategies Fund is now available through the Tailored Selection on a range of investment and pension products including The One from Winterthur and Investment Bond as well as through the Elevate platform.
