Santander opens Corporate Banking Centre in Wolverhampton

Santander Corporate Banking is strengthening its support for businesses and extending its presence in the Midlands with the opening of a new Corporate Banking Centre in Wolverhampton.

The move demonstrates Santander's commitment to small and medium sized enterprises (SMEs) in the Black Country, and forms part of the bank's strategic plan to build on its expertise in manufacturing-based businesses.

The new centre opened in temporary premises in Wolverhampton Science Park this month, ahead of a move to larger premises later in the year. It provides a bespoke relationship banking service to corporate and commercial customers with a turnover above £1 million and offers a full range of banking services, including specialist finance such as asset finance and invoice discounting, as well as specialist sector expertise.

The five-strong team is led by Keith Webb, Regional Director for the West Midlands and is made up of three relationship directors: Christine Banks; Chris Hyde and Andy Long, along with relationship manager Diane Snee-Spink. Together, the team has more than 100 years of banking experience.
