Michelin launches Taiwan Green Guide

22nd March 2011 Print

Michelin is to launch a dedicated Green Guide to Taiwan, available in bookshops from 1 April 2011, priced at £14.99.

Taiwan becomes only the fourth Asian destination to be included in the Green Guide series of travel books.  The 388-page guide lists 38 towns and regions in Taiwan as three-star ‘must-see’ destinations, with a further 142 two-star recommended destinations and 138 one-star interesting destinations.

Locations rated as ‘must see’ by Michelin’s 10-strong team of objective overseas writers include the world’s second-tallest building Taipei 101, the Chiang Kai-shek Memorial Hall and the National Palace Museum, home to one of the world’s most impressive collections of ancient Chinese artefacts.
