Easter guided walking breaks in the British countryside

24th March 2011 Print

A choice of UK guided walking breaks – taking in the beautiful British countryside – is available this Easter courtesy of HF Holidays, the UK’s largest walking and leisure activity holiday organisation.

Based at the company’s UK Country Houses – all situated within prime walking areas – there’s a choice of walks each day, to suit ability, amid green meadows, rolling hills or picturesque valleys together with various entertainment in the evenings as well as an Easter Egg for each guest.

For example, head to the Yorkshire Dales and enjoy walks in the Howgill Fells and the Wensleydale Valley and along the Dales and Pennine Ways with accommodation at Thorns Hall Country House, a small 16th century manor house situated just a few minutes’ walk from the centre of Sedbergh.

Starting 22 April, a four-night break costs £399 whilst seven nights are £599.

Or enjoy a choice of guided walks in the gently rolling landscapes of the Cotswolds with highlights including charming stone villages, historic hamlets and the Monarch’s Way.

Accommodation is at the company’s Harrington House at Bourton-on-the-Water and, starting 22 April, a four-night break costs £435 and seven nights are £599.

All prices are per person, twin-share and include full-board accommodation, the programme of organised walks and social activities, transport to and from the walks, plus the services of an HF Holidays’ walks leader.
