The Chester Residence in Edinburgh’s West End was named ‘Luxury Accommodation of the Year’ and ‘Serviced Apartments of the Year’ at the Scottish Hotel Awards 2011, held at the Thistle Glasgow Hotel earlier tonight.

Graham Wood, co-owner with his wife Gillian, was presented with the awards at the ceremony attended by hundreds of hoteliers from across Scotland.

Graham Wood says: “The Chester Residence is a small, family run business and these awards prove that a combination of chic designer suites, attention to detail, and a high level of personalised service is the best way to ensure that people return to us again and again. We are delighted that our hard work has been recognised, and will continue to maintain the excellent standards such recognition demands.”

The Chester Residence, a luxurious collection of 5-star Georgian townhouses, was last year also named one of the Top 25 hotels in Europe by the leading global travel website Trip Advisor.
