The open weekend at the development is aimed to give those searching for their perfect first pad the opportunity to view the last few remaining apartments on offer and find out about the financial schemes in place which are designed to make the step to home ownership easier and more affordable. House hunters will also be able to receive expert advice on the day from independent financial advisors and solicitors.

To help first time buyers make that step on to the property ladder Taylor Wimpey is offering EasyStart scheme on its apartments at Wilkinson Court, where the buyer owns 100% of the home for 85% of the price. Through the shared equity scheme homebuyers simply pay a 5% deposit to secure the property and pay 80% of the purchase price via their prearranged mortgage. Taylor Wimpey then loans the purchaser the remaining amount, with no rent or interest payable for up to 10 years.
