Pride in a job well done brings joy to Redrow customers

Taking pride in a job well done certainly seems to be paying off for Redrow Homes – and, more importantly, giving its customers what they want.

Featuring customers and staff in its new ‘Our Pride ~ Your Joy’ campaign, Redrow has just become one of a handful of companies to receive a 5-star rating in the Home Builders Federation (HBF) annual customer satisfaction survey.

The top standard is reserved for companies where over 90% of customers would recommend them to a friend; and where at least 90% of purchasers are satisfied with the quality of their new home.

Redrow has out-performed almost all of the major housebuilders, accomplishing a score more readily achieved by smaller companies building fewer homes each year.

John Tutte, Redrow’s group managing director, says: “These results come a year after we introduced our New Heritage Collection of homes, which are all about giving customers what they want; a quality home that looks traditional, perhaps evocative of the one they grew up in, but has the style, specification and energy efficiency of a brand new home.

“Across the year we have worked hard to ensure high levels of customer service and have hosted regular focus groups to listen to what our customers want. From that research we developed the Redrow ‘Our Pride ~ Your Joy’ marketing campaign.

“Maintaining and further improving customer service levels across the group remains a top priority for Redrow.”

The HBF’s annual customer satisfaction survey was released today (Thursday, March 31).

Stewart Baseley, executive chairman at HBF, said: “These results are truly outstanding and a testament to the efforts made to deliver ever increasing satisfaction levels to new home buyers.

“It is essential to achieve these high satisfaction levels when providing a product that represents for most people their largest investment both financially and emotionally.

“But creating a great home is not straightforward. Each home built is different and presents a different challenge. It takes commitment and dedication, involving everyone from directors to tradesmen to customer facing staff.”
