A number of buy-to-let purchasers have already snapped up apartments and houses from Redrow in Ipswich and other would-be investors who choose to join them could see a good yield on their savings.

The spacious three-storey townhouses and last remaining apartment at Bramford Gardens are all built to Redrow’s exacting specification and, as new build homes, are ultimately appealing to professionals looking to rent.

Many buy-to-let investors have already purchased and successfully let out apartments and houses at the venture and there’s still time for others to share in their success.

David Carter, lettings manager at Essex & Suffolk Lettings, said: “The homes at Bramford Gardens have proved extremely popular with buy-to-let investors who recognise the potential for a good return in the short term and capital growth on their investment in the long term.

“There is strong rental demand and a lack of supply in the area so we are able to secure tenants for properties very quickly."

“As new build homes, landlords appreciate there is no costly renovation required and as a clean, blank canvas with modern kitchens and bathrooms, they appeal to professional tenants. Bramford Gardens is in a popular location with easy access to all the shops, restaurants, bars and amenities of the town centre.”

Based on previous successes, Essex & Suffolk Lettings estimate a two-bedroom Elmswell apartment, priced at £99,950, can achieve a rental income of £550 per month, a three-bedroom £169,950 Washbrook townhouse an average of £675 per month, and a three-bed Garford townhouse, priced at £179,950, an average of £700 per month.

Beryl Williams, areas sales manager for Redrow Homes (Eastern), added: “The homes at Bramford Gardens have a proven track record of providing investors with a constant and continual income. Based on the rentals that are being achieved, the potential is certainly there for one-off cash investors to get a higher return on the savings than if they leave their money in the bank.”

As well as featuring Redrow’s superior specification, new homes also have many advantages over the second-hand sector including in-built energy efficiency, the NHBC 10-year ‘Buildmark’ warranty and two-year guarantees on all appliances.

Good road and rail links from Ipswich make Bramford Gardens a great base for commuters to places like Cambridge, Norwich and even London, which is just 75 minutes by train.

For details of new homes available visit the development and show homes off Bramford Road, Ipswich, daily between 10am and 5.30pm.
