Its location is convenient with Geneva airport 109 km away which takes approximately 1hr 12, then Lyon and Grenoble airport also about 1hr15 away. The local airport at Chambery Aix les Bains is 40 km which is approximately 30 minutes by car. There is also a TGV stop 30 mins away and the motorway passes within 1km of the chateau so access is easy and fast.

Locally you can explore local bakeries, cheese shops, and open-air markets that typify French living. Excellent shopping and restaurant opportunities can be found in the surrounding towns and villages.

The interior of the chateau has been lovingly restored and as you walk through the old entrance and in to the impressive stone corridors you start to get a real feel of the place. From here you pass into the living areas as below;

Reception room
Located in the heart of the chateau, the warm, elegant reception room features two fireplaces, high ceilings and a magnificent walnut parquet floor. At the moment it has two seating areas, with imported area rugs and the walls are displaying extraordinary art which looks at home in the setting.

This spacious room with a fireplace to warm up in winter is the perfect place to relax with a glass of wine from one of the local vineyards and a book from the Chateau's library (owners personal library and not included in the sale) or to meditate while gazing through windows that face the Chateau's garden and the Alps.

Shop from the local markets and create your own gastronomic delight in the Chateau's fully equipped kitchen fitted with state-of-the-art appliances and containing all the comforts of home. Allow one of the local chefs to cook for you or, better still, to instruct you in the art of French cooking. Let him show you how to pair the regional wines with the dishes you create.

The salon, with adjoining terrace and dining room, is the ideal place to gather for aperitifs or for after-dinner coffee and dessert. This warm, inviting room features a fireplace, bar and currently is equipped with an audio system with iPod plug-in and CD selection.

Dining Room
Adjacent to the east terrace and the salon, the elegant dining room, decorated with red-wax walls, beautifully restored vaulted ceilings and cosy fireplace, is the perfect setting for any meal. Private Art Studio
Most of the Chateau's walls are currently draped with fine art created by the owner's mother, painted in her private art studio that's located in the Chateau during the Chateau's restoration. Please note that the art is not included in the sale.

10 ensuite double bedrooms
Each of the spacious en suite bedrooms has its own distinct style, combining antique charm with modern comfort. All rooms have a magnificent view, most provide a seating area and some have fireplaces. All the bedrooms have handsome restored hardwood floors enriched with imported rugs.
