Jelson quality draws one family back to St Mellion Heights

When looking for a new home, you often dread having to spend day upon day of visiting properties, only to find they’re not right for you. Well one couple managed to avoid that hassle by heading back to the place they know best - Jelson Homes.
Laura and Brian Harrison, first purchased a home with Jelson in 2002 on a previous phase of its scheme in Grantham, but when their daughter, Kara, came along, so did the need to upgrade. That’s why they headed straight to the sales office on site at Jelson’s current development, St Mellion Heights and are now the proud owners of a 4 bedroom detached home.
Laura, comments: “With our family expanding we had to upgrade, but we were so impressed with the 2 bedroom Jelson house we were living in. Brian is a builder, so he knows quality when he sees it, like the solid internal walls, which is why we knew our best option was to visit the sales advisor at St Mellion Heights.”
The development has a fantastic range of 2, 3 and 4 bedroom new homes in Grantham, starting from £104,950, suitable for a host of purchasers and all budgets.
“I had my eye on the 4 bedroom Lytham from the start, with its bay windows, useful garage and nice garden, so we were glad we were able to buy it,” Laura continues. “Jelson helped us there too, as we part exchanged* our old home, so there was no need for us to find a buyer. Plus, the sales advisors were so supportive, so they made our move hassle free.
“We’ve lived in and around the Grantham area all our lives, but find the location of St Mellion Heights perfect. The neighbours are friendly, there’s a park nearby and the town centre is only a 20 minute walk away. We’re really happy with our new home and if we ever decide to buy again, we know where to go!”
Jelson places a big importance on selecting where it locates its developments, so a move to St Mellion Heights will see you get more than a beautiful new home – you’ll benefit from an address that will mean you’re well placed to make the most of all that Grantham has to offer. The town centre, with its supermarkets, selection of shops and well-regarded schools, is just a short drive away making it a great base for families.
Commuters will benefit from excellent transport links - the A1 provides easy access to Peterborough and onto London whilst Nottingham and Leicester are both within commutable distance. Meanwhile, Grantham train station offers direct services to Peterborough and Nottingham.
