4th April 2011 Print

There’s still time to book an Easter getaway in Cornwall – and discover its rugged coast, stunning scenery, beautiful beaches and hidden coves – says Cornish Cottages which is highlighting short breaks and week-long stays available at this time.

For example, enjoy a four-night Easter weekend break starting 22 April at Savoy House – a spacious two bedroom apartment sleeping four situated in the picturesque village of Mullion – for just £261.  It also has a courtyard seating area and is within easy reach – on foot or by car – of the beaches at Polurrian and Poldhu.

Or for a larger party, there’s a £100 saving on the week’s rental starting 23 April of Gwavas Vean – a spacious detached four bedroom house sleeping eight, set in large gardens with superb rural and sea views – which means the revised cost for the week is £570.

Surrounded by fields and situated just a short walk to the picturesque fishing village of Cadgwith, it is also close to the coastal footpath and two miles from Kynance Cove and Kennack Sands.

Alternatively, there’s a 5% discount on a week’s rental of Greenshank – a single storey property sleeping four situated on top of Mullion cliff with miles of bracing cliff top walks in both directions.  The revised cost of seven nights’ rental starting 16 and 22 April is now £331 (saving £17).
