Door bashing action returns to Donington Park

Motorsport's fiercest door bashing action returns to Donington Park next month, as the Leicestershire race circuit welcomes the hugely popular Dunlop MSA British Touring Car Championship (BTCC) back for round two of the 2011 series.
Following the return of world championship racing at Donington Park last month, when the World SBK Championship rolled into town for the European round of the series, Britain's most popular 'tin-top' car series is the next major event on the Donington calendar and is sure to entertain the crowds, thanks to the BTCC's renowned, fast paced, high action, close quarters racing.
Kicking off on Saturday 16th April with qualifying and then race action the following day, fans will get the chance to see up close and personal, the series that welcomes an unprecedented number of manufacturers back to the grid this season, along with support class racing such as the Porsche Carrera Cup, Formula Renault 2.0 Championship, Michelin Ginetta GT Supercup and Ginetta Junior Championship.
To witness reigning champion Jason Plato's bid to secure a third title and arch-rival Matt Neal's attempt to stop him, visit donington-park.co.uk, where via the E-Ticket option you can buy your tickets right up until the day before the event.
