Property group's expansion ‘In-Site' following finance deal

6th April 2011 Print

Property management company In-Site Property Solutions is on the acquisition trial after securing a new financing deal from Santander Corporate Banking.

The family-run business, based in Wetherby, is actively looking to expand its property portfolio through the acquisition of industrial sites for re-development and letting. The firm specialises in refurbishing former industrial units, particularly original equipment manufacturers, for lease to start-ups and smaller businesses looking for affordable accommodation.

The company has a proven track record in this type of redevelopment and currently manages seven properties in Scotland and the North East of England. Its premises include a former Phillips TV factory in Washington and the North-East headquarters of United Mining Machinery.

Alex Boyle, Property Manager at In-Site, said:  "We are looking forward to using this new finance to invest in and grow the business.  We are now actively looking to acquire industrial sites or estates, with a short-term asset management opportunity and a longer term change of use or redevelopment angle.

"We are grateful for the support we have received from Santander.  They really took the time to get to know our business and their regional and sector expertise has proved invaluable. Following our move from Scotland to Yorkshire four years ago, this new financing will give us the boost we need to firmly establish ourselves in the region."

James Espley, Relationship Director at Santander's Corporate Business Centre in Leeds, said: "At Santander Corporate Banking we focus on building long-term relationships with our clients. We take the time to get to know their businesses and find the right financing solutions for their individual needs. Our relationship with In-site is a perfect example of this. We wish them every success for their expansion plans and look forward to working with them in the future."
