Taylor Wimpey offers ‘Wright Price’ homes in Rushall

Corrina Wright and Richard Price found their first-time buy at Taylor Wimpey’s Frampton View development of new homes for sale in Rushall.
Young couple Corrina Wright and Richard Price wanted to ditch the rent and buy their first Rushall property together, but found they were being priced out of suitable homes for sale in the Walsall area.
But, when Richard’s mum spotted a newspaper advertisement for Taylor Wimpey’s desirable Frampton View new-build homes development in Rushall, the couple found they could afford the place of their dreams.
“We had looked at another housebuilder’s new homes for sale in Walsall, but everything was too expensive,” says Corrina, a beauty therapist who works in Bloxwich.
“But when Richard’s mum told us about Frampton View we visited the development and found out Taylor Wimpey could help us with our deposit, which meant we could afford one of their amazing new houses in Rushall.”
Corrina and Richard bought a three-bedroom ‘Barwell’ house off-plan, and are due to move to Frampton View from their rented property in Aldridge in April.
“We can’t wait, it’s really exciting,” says Corrina. “We looked around the new showhome at Frampton View and we loved that, because there was so much space.
“The ‘Barwell’ has got a really big open plan living/dining room, which sold it to us. The fact we’ve been able to buy somewhere with three bedrooms is amazing, because we are used to having only two and thought that a similar-sized place would be all we could afford.”
Corrina is also pleased to be returning to live in a property in Rushall, the Walsall suburb where she grew up. “It’s a nice, quiet place to live,” she says. “It’s got everything you need, but you are also near enough to Walsall town centre for nights out and shopping.”
For first-time purchasers of new homes in Walsall like Corrina and Richard, a range of money-saving incentives are available at Frampton View, including the Deposit Match initiative to double the purchaser’s down payment to up to 10% of the purchase price, and Easy Start shared equity.
Under Easy Start, all the purchaser has to do is find a deposit for 5%, subject to status, and Taylor Wimpey’s appointed independent financial advisor will help arrange a mortgage covering 80% of the price of one of its new Rushall homes.
The housebuilder will then provide the remaining 15% equity in the form of an interest-free loan, which can be repaid in up to three instalments over a 10-year period at the market value of the property when payments are made.
Selected two-bedroom ‘Ashby’ houses are currently available for an Easy Start price of just £106,245*, while the three-bedroom ‘Barwell’ home is priced from as little as £121,125*. Alternative three-bedroom designs include the ‘Croxton’, from only £159,995 and the detached ‘Severn’ is available from just £179,995.
The Frampton View Sales Centre and showhomes are located off Station Road, Rushall, and open Thursday to Monday from 11am to 5pm.
