From house moves to dance moves with Taylor Wimpey

Leading housebuilder Taylor Wimpey is helping Nottinghamshire and Derbyshire get moving – in more ways than one!
When Taylor Wimpey East Midlands staff heard that youngsters from Dance Divaz – which has classes in Nottinghamshire’s Bestwood Village and Sutton-in-Ashfield, and Ilkeston in Derbyshire – were performing in a song and dance extravaganza at Nottingham Royal Concert Hall this spring, they decided it would be great to help out.
The housebuilder, which is building new homes at Brackens Court, Bestwood Village and Briars Chase, Ilkeston, is always keen to support community ventures near its developments, and has donated £500 to the group.
Now, with a hectic schedule of costume fittings, weekly rehearsals and practising at home, performers aged from three years upwards are busy in preparation for the Rock Your Body show at the prestigious venue on Saturday 16th April.
Kelly French, Regional Sales and Marketing Director for Taylor Wimpey East Midlands, says: “We don’t just build new houses for sale in Nottinghamshire and Derbyshire, we build communities, and we were only too happy to be able to help the Dance Divaz with their show.
“And while these young performers are practising their dance moves, we can show home-hunters in the area some pretty fantastic moves of our own – to a fabulous new property in Nottinghamshire and Derbyshire!”
