RS Academy offers driving experience of new Mono sports car
RS Academy, one of Europe’s most exclusive track-driving car clubs, is delighted to announce that it has taken delivery of the very first production Mono sports cars which will further enhance its existing fleet of mouth-watering supercars.
RS Academy’s members will be able to drive the two new cars at selected dates and venues from early May this year. RS Academy managing director, Rob Stanbury says: “As soon we saw the Mono concept, we knew we wanted to have them on our fleet and we’ve been involved in the project for many months. These are seriously quick and superbly engineered cars and they will prove to be hugely entertaining and capable track cars for RS Academy members to enjoy on some of the world’s greatest motor racing circuits.”
The Mono is a lightweight, ultra high performance, road legal sports car, designed and manufactured using the latest racing technology. Aimed at drivers who seek a purist driving experience and for whom design, engineering excellence and performance are of paramount importance, the Mono is an aggressive design and will set a new benchmark in the small, but elite segment of radical, lightweight sports cars. With 528 bhp per ton, the Mono is capable of a top speed is in excess of 170 mph and 0-60 mph in 2.8 seconds.
RS Academy has track days arranged throughout the year at circuits such as the Nurburgring, Ascari Race Resort, Paul Ricard and Spa Francorchamps and offers members a financially astute way to access some of the world’s most exciting cars on some of the most challenging and rewarding circuits.
Club members benefit from a constantly changing and growing fleet of fantastic track cars and exclusive access to prototypes and the latest production models from some of the most exciting and rare supercar manufacturers. RS Academy members have access to over 100 high quality track days per year and can guarantee limited numbers on most events to provide the ultimate membership experience.
