Homes fit for the King are being launched this weekend as Redrow throws open the doors to three new show properties.

The Lenzie development has proved such a hit that homebuyers ‘can’t help falling in love’ with the properties at Woodilee Village, where more than 20 homes have already been sold.

A team of Elvis impersonators from the Elvis Cleaning Company will be ensuring the show homes aren’t ‘all shook up’ while performing some of the King’s hits during Saturday’s event (April 16).

“We’ve already sold more than 20 properties at Woodilee and have continued to see a strong level of interest in the properties with around 50 people a week contacting us for more information,” Mary McHutchison, sales manager for Redrow Homes (Scotland) commented.

“And while some people have the confidence to buy ‘off plan’ ,others say that being able to view a show home is an essential part of the home buying process as it enables them to appreciate the layout and experience the quality and finish of the designs. With that in mind we’ll be opening the doors to a trio of show homes, dressed to impress by a team of professional interior designers. We expect to see high numbers of visitors at the launch of our show homes and will pulling out all the stops to ensure it’s a real family affair.”

The launch will feature a whole host of entertainment starting with a jazz band performing from noon. There will also be music from a guitarist and a duo.

With a choice of apartments and family homes, Woodilee has plenty to offer a whole host of buyers including first time buyers, downsizers and those with children.

Inspired by the Arts and Crafts era, the homes look traditional from the outside and giving a nod to the past there will be a vintage 1951 bus giving rides around the development and into Lenzie.

There will also be a clown, magician and balloon modeller to keep youngsters entertained.

Mind tricks will be performed on visitors, although no trickery will be required to convince house hunters of the beauty of the homes, as Mary explains.

“Designed to meet the demands of 21st century living, our spacious homes are full of family friendly features, including convivial open plan layouts and the modern day essential en-suite to master bedroom. Kitchens in the homes at Woodilee are both stylish and practical, with the convenience of integrated top brand name appliances plus tall units and extra wide drawers that offer plenty of storage. Celebrity chef John Quigley will put our kitchens to the test with a cookery demonstration at the launch,” Mary added.

“And because we want to make our customers feel at home and relax we’ll also be offering them champagne and canapés plus tea, coffee and cupcakes. Our friendly, experiences sales team strive to make the home buying process as simple and straight forward as possible, but if anyone is feeling stressed they can enjoy a relaxing massage or a manicure from trained beauty therapists.”

Set in a semi-rural location, Woodilee Village is just a short journey from Glasgow. The development is within the catchment area for the respected Lenzie Academy, making the homes a popular choice for those with children.

The launch of the show homes takes place this Saturday (April 16) from noon to 4pm.
