Taylor Wimpey’s is launching two new developments of homes for sale in Haywards Heath, where properties are being snapped fast.

Taylor Wimpey is opening brand new opportunities to buy new houses and flats in Haywards Heath, West Sussex, a hotspot where property is bucking the trend of falling values.

The leading housebuilder is demonstrating its confidence in the market by constructing a total of 75 brand new apartments and houses in Haywards Heath: at Sandrocks, an exclusive development of houses off Rocky Lane, and Vibe, a stylish collection of apartments off Boston Road.

According to the independent website home.co.uk which specialises in property, Haywards Heath saw a 7% increase in selling prices between September 2009 and September 2010, with an average 36% increase in the year-on-year selling prices of larger homes.

Fiona Creed, Senior Sales Manager for Taylor Wimpey, says: “While many areas of the UK face falling prices for homes, Haywards Heath is remaining very buoyant and continues to be a great place to invest in a new home.

“Our new homes developments in the area will give more people the opportunity to become a first-time buyer or move upmarket – but with demand high it’s vital that those interested in our new homes get in touch early and take advantage of our great-value prices now for properties in Haywards Heath.”

Sandrocks comprises a superb selection of two, three, four and five-bedroom new houses in Haywards Heath, with private gardens, garage parking to most properties, and fabulous interior layouts to suit executive couples and families. Prices start from just £199,995 for a delightful two-bedroom coach house.

Vibe’s selection of 13 one and two-bedroom Haywards Heath flats, available to reserve now from just £149,995, will feature spacious living areas and fitted kitchens, with each home benefitting from an allocated parking space outside.

Vibe, in a popular residential area not far from the centre of Haywards Heath, is ideally placed for commuters, with the new homes located less than a mile from Haywards Heath railway station, which offers regular services to London Victoria and London Bridge in around 45 minutes, and to Gatwick Airport and to Brighton in around 20 minutes.

Meanwhile, Sandrocks is located on the attractive southern edge of Haywards Heath bordering beautiful open countryside, yet just over a mile from the town centre.

Crawley and the M23 are 13 miles away, linking on to the M25, while Gatwick Airport is just 21 miles from the development by road.

Haywards Heath is served by a wide range of independent and high street shops, including Sainsbury’s, as well as a good selection of restaurants, pubs and cafés.

The town benefits from a number of parks and public gardens, has a library, thriving community centre and leisure centre plus a general hospital.

Parents will appreciate that schools for children of all ages can be found in the town, including two well-regarded colleges.

For leisure and days out, a host of attractions is located just a short distance from the new development – the south coast is an easy drive away for days out at the beach, while stretching from the South Downs to the Surrey border is pretty countryside dotted with historic houses, famous gardens and lovely villages.

Mid Sussex’s delights include superb gardens – Wakehurst Place, Nymans, High Beeches, Borde Hill and Leonardslee – which are renowned for their botanical displays, while William Morris textiles can be seen at Standen, the Arts and Crafts house near East Grinstead.
