Royal wedding escapes to Morocco

12th April 2011 Print
The stunning location of Kasbah Angour

If the thought of the country celebrating the wedding of two people they don’t know is too much to bear, then head for Fleewinter’s newest property, Kasbah Angour. The delightful 25 roomed property which was a former Berber castle commands panoramic views from its elevated position on a hill top, of the highest peaks in the High Atlas.

The property, which is 30 minutes’ drive from Marrakech, has a large swimming pool and manicured gardens and is constructed from traditional Moroccan materials including red sandstone, clay tiles from Meknes and cedar wood from the Middle Atlas Mountains.

Local activities on offer include Marrakech tours, guided walks (half or full day), cycling and mule treks, all of which can be organised by the hotel or with Fleewinter at the time of booking.

A three-night stay in late April costs from £150 pp per night (two sharing) on a B&B basis.
