Heritage Motor Centre hosts 6 events in one day

Spring Classic

The Heritage Motor Centre is to host six exciting and unique events in one day to celebrate the start of the classic motoring season! The Gaydon Spring Classic, Cream Tea Run, Eastern European Rally, 2 Stroke Rally, Boot for Ben Car Boot and Heart of England Auto Jumble all take place on Sunday 8 May.

Visitors can enjoy free entry and free parking to the Auto Jumble and Car Boot plus view all the days rally’s free of charge. Normal entry fees apply for the Museum but the HMC is also offering discounted entry to anyone who arrives in a classic model for just £5 per person!

The Gaydon Spring Classic is an annual gathering of vehicles over 20 years old and is free for all participants. Hundreds of Vintage, Veteran and Classic cars will converge at this popular event.

The Cream Tea Run is a fun and relaxing road run for cars, also over 20 years old. The route, which starts at the HMC, is approximately 55 miles long and follows the Edgehill Tour. Drivers and passengers can enjoy a delicious cream tea at the end of the run. The cost is £20 per car (driver & passenger) which includes the car plaque, entry to the Museum and a cream tea. Additional passengers cost £10 per person.

The Gaydon Two Stroke Rally is a unique annual event held at the HMC, now in its third year. Sponsored by The Trojan Owners’ Club, the event attracts enthusiasts with any 2 Stroke Vans, Cars, 3-Wheelers or Motorcycles. East European Cars and Trucks of all types will gather at the Eastern European Rally, an exciting event for all enthusiasts of these models.

‘Boot 4 Ben’, is a charity car boot sale with a difference and is open to the public and traders. All proceeds raised from the pitch fees will be split equally between BEN, the automotive industry charity, and BMIHT charity. The Heart of England Auto Jumble is a new event and looks set to be a popular one. Free to visitors, the Auto Jumble will open to the public at 10am. So spring clean your house, make some money and enjoy a day out attending all six events on one day!
