Burma

Following a change of stance by Aung San Suu Kyi and the democratic movement in Burma, Mountain Kingdoms is pleased to launch two new and distinctive adventures to this remarkable country.

In keeping with its long standing support of the original tourist boycott, these trips are planned in recognition of the work and guidance of Tourism Concern and the Burma Campaign.  More importantly, the trips have been designed with the help of Burmese people to support independent and privately run businesses in Burma and minimise the financial benefit to the ruling military regime.
