May bank holiday is traditionally the time we don overalls and give our homes a much needed DIY fix. However, with recent research revealing over half of Brits are scared of DIY and four out of ten would even go as far as saying they hate it , many people will be looking to avoid household chores this spring.

Award-winning housebuilder Crest Nicholson is offering the ideal solution to escape bank holiday DIY blues for would be home-owners, with brand new houses at the popular Merchant’s Quarter development in Stevenage all newly decorated, fully fitted and ready to be occupied. Internally, the stylish homes at Merchant’s Quarter are all freshly painted and fitted to the high standard associated with Crest Nicholson, so that buyers can move straight in without having to lift a finger, and enjoy DIY-free bank holidays for years to come.
