Trustnet launches UK equities research hub
Trustnet, the award winning investment fund data and research website from Financial Express, has created a new equities research hub.
The new section (trustnet.com/equities) is designed to support investors looking for exposure to UK shares, offering detailed factsheets containing a wealth of information on individual equities alongside powerful comparative tables.
New equity price and performance pages will show the historical performance of individual stocks, with factsheets displaying company fundamentals including detailed financial accounts and a full history of RNS announcements.
Factsheets also include latest prices, volumes and histories. Additionally, the section will feature the day's best and worst performing equities, news feeds from Business Financial Newswire, and key index data including the FTSE100, FTSE AIM and Standard & Poor's 500 indices, oil and gold prices.
Users will be able to integrate stocks in which they invest or shares they are considering into Trustnet's portfolio tool and multi-plot charting.
Equities on Trustnet join information on unit trusts and OEICs alongside investment trusts, ETFs, structured products, offshore funds and life and pensions investments.
Pascal Dowling, Director at Financial Express, said: "Trustnet already carries detailed fund, manager and group factsheets, so a natural extension to our service for investors is to include more details on direct equities.
"We are confident that this addition to the Trustnet resource set will be a valuable weapon in our users' investment arsenal, giving them access to detailed factsheets on individual companies including historical information, and allowing them to line up equities alongside their holdings in Trustnet portfolio, ahead of making investment decisions."
