Hampshire hotel hosts family food & drink festival

This summer visitors to the New Forest will be able to celebrate the finest Hampshire products in the grounds of an historic maritime hotel on the banks of the River Beaulieu.

The Master Builder’s Hotel situated in the picturesque setting of Bucklers Hard, Beaulieu has invited over 30 local producers to exhibit their food, drink and crafts to celebrate and promote the quality of local produce and the county’s rich arts and crafts heritage.

The festival which will take place on Saturday July 2 and Sunday July 3 is set to make the perfect family day out with tasty treats, Hampshire tipples and live Jazz music for the adults, plus fun activities for the children including a bouncy castle and face painting. In addition to the stalls and craft stands in the hotel grounds there is a Steamboat and Old Gaffers rally taking place on both days of the weekend in Buckler’s Hard Marina.

On the Sunday the festival switches it’s focus from food and crafts to family fun and brings back all the old favourites of a traditional fete including ‘hook the duck’ and a coconut shy.

The festival which starts from 11am both days is free to all and there is plenty of parking available. For further information, visit: themasterbuilders.co.uk
