Save time and money with a new home in Bilston

People looking for a Bilston home that’s easy to manage and efficient to run should head along to Chestnut Walk.

The Redrow development features designs from the critically acclaimed New Heritage Collection, combining the best of old and new. It means homeowners can enjoy the charm and character of ‘period’ properties but with stylish interiors to meet the demands of modern 21st century family living.

Current availability includes a choice of three and four-bedroom family homes that are perfect for those who are ready to make their next move on the property ladder.

Pauline Turnbull, sales director for Redrow Homes (Midlands), commented: “There’s something special about being the very first people to eat, sleep and bathe in a property. Buying a brand new home means you won’t inherit someone else’s decor and won’t wonder about the previous occupant’s lifestyles. Instead you’ll be able to personalise it to your tastes from day one, choosing everything from the kitchen units and bathroom tiles and even the light switches.”

Prices at Chestnut Walk start from £179,995 for a three-bedroom ‘Warwick’ style home. Four-bedroom properties are available in a choice of styles, priced from £186,995.

Fitted with floor to ceiling units with soft closing doors and extra wide drawers, Redrow kitchens are both practical and stylish with the convenience of integrated top brand name appliances. Installing the same high quality kitchen in an older property would cost around £6,000. Indeed, it could cost as much as £30,000 to bring a second hand property up to the same standard as a brand new Redrow home.

“Buying a supposedly ‘cheaper’ older property can be a false economy,” Pauline explained. “The cost of installing a new kitchen, appliances and bathrooms plus energy efficient heating, replacement windows and a whole host of other features soon adds up. Plus you’ll also have the inconvenience of not being able to use the kitchen or bathroom while they are replaced.

“An older property may also need lots or repairs and renovations, while our new homes are easy to maintain and, because they’re well insulated with double glazing and central heating included as standard, homeowners should save money on their utility bills.”

With part-exchange considered, those with an existing property to sell may find that they are able to trade it in for a bigger, better, brand new home.

Two show homes are open daily at Chestnut Walk in Dudley Street, Bilston, enabling potential purchasers to appreciate the layout of the properties and the quality and finish of the designs.

Extensive video footage of show homes from across the country, means buyers can ‘see’ inside without having to visit lots of developments.
