Couple buy second Redrow home in Leeds

Ron and Vanda Miller were happy with their Redrow home in Barnsley so when they decided to relocate to the Leeds area, where better than to another Redrow home?

“We bought our first Redrow home near Barnsley in 2008 but were keen to move back to the Leeds area, which is where we are from. We liked our first Redrow home so much that we started looking for another one in the Leeds area,” Ron explained.

Their new home is a three-bedroom ‘Harlech’ style property from Redrow’s New Heritage Collection at Saxon Court in Sherburn in Elmet.

“It’s a quirky house and we’ve christened it the Tardis as it’s bigger on the inside than it looks from the outside. We were very pleasantly surprised just how large the open plan kitchen and dining room and the separate living room are. We have more space in the new three-bedroom semi than we did in our old three-bedroom detached home in Barnsley,” Ron commented.

“We had bought new homes before our first Redrow home but hadn’t enjoyed the same specification and build quality as we have with Redrow. The kitchen is very cleverly designed with a very high specification and integrated appliances,” Ron added.

“The en-suite to the master bedroom to complement the family bathroom means we can use them as ‘his and hers bathrooms’. Plus we have a downstairs cloakroom, which is great when we have visitors.”

Ron says they received a high level of customer care during the buying process and after they moved in to Saxon Court.

“We would definitely recommend Redrow to family and friends because not only are their prices very competitive, but the homes are well designed, there’s a good choice of house types and the developments are well landscaped,” Ron commented.
