House hunters ‘can’t help falling in love’ with new Redrow homes in East Dunbartonshire.

To mark the launch of the show homes at Woodilee Village Redrow laid on a whole host of entertainment, which included performances from the Elvis Cleaning Company. Singing as they cleaned, they ensured the properties were fit for ‘the King’ at all times.

Mary McHutchison, sales manager at Redrow Homes (Scotland), commented: “We knew from our sales success and database of those who had expressed an interest in the development that there’s a demand for new homes in the Lenzie area but even we were surprised at just how many people came along for the launch of the show homes.

“We welcomed more than 100 visitors, many of whom were ‘all shook up’ by the high specification we offer as standard. We took two reservations at the launch to add to the 20 properties that had already been sold ‘off-plan’. Others are waiting for their preferred properties to be released and some have already made a second visit.”

The launch event had a real party atmosphere with a jazz band performing and a children’s entertainer.

As visitors enjoyed a taste of what life would be like if they bought a new home at Woodilee Village, they were able to sample food prepared by celebrity chef John Quigley.

Patron of the Red Onion in Glasgow, John has travelled the world as the private chef to a number of rock stars and the cuisine at his restaurant continues to attract celebrity diners.

Kitchens are at the heart of new Redrow homes and John’s demonstration showed that the designs are both practical and stylish, with their integrated, top brand name appliances, floor to ceiling units and extra wide drawers.

“People enjoyed looking around the three show homes to experience the layout of the properties and the quality and finish of the design,” Mary explained.

“The open plan layout of the ‘Whithorn’ was a real hit with visitors who loved the combined kitchen, dining area and family room. Many people said that they would spend most of their time there rather than in the separate living room Others were impressed by the fact the ‘Stirling’ enjoys the luxury of not one but two en suite bathrooms.”

With properties ranging from one-bedroom apartments to four-bedroom homes, Woodilee Village offers something for everyone – from first time buyers, to downsizers and growing families in search of extra space. Prices start from £125,000.

The singing Elvises may have left the building but, if it’s ‘now or never’ for a brand new home, head down to Woodilee Village where the show homes are open daily from 10am to 5.30pm.
