Revealed - Mick Begley is back!

Turbo Dynamics sponsored Mick Begley returns in style this year with his gold Skyline and promises he will be “very, very, very quick”. And knowing Mick, this is likely to be understatement!

Record Holder, Mick Begley, won acclaim in his 1400BHP engined ‘Gaijin’ when he achieved 173mph time of 8.06 secs 202.8 standing mile. Having come across the shell of a disused Skyline last year, he enlisted TR Racing to get to work. Within two weeks Justin at TR Racing had transferred everything - suspension arms, wiring loom, engine… into this golden Skyline shell.

The RB30 OS Geikin 3litre Skyline will be entered this year into the HKS drag series and will be wowing the crowds at this years’ Ten Of The Best, also sponsored by Turbo Dynamics.

Turbocharger experts Turbo Dynamics supplied Mick with a Turbo Dynamics bespoke modified HKS T62R Anniversary modified by TD and featuring a one off special TD modified GT45 compressor wheel and a unique TD designed modification to the turbine wheel to help reduce back pressure whilst not harming the response. Ever aware of safety, a new role cage has been fitted and major safety mods have been undertaken on the car - with the tragic death of ‘Tweeny’ Rob from TR Racing always in the forefront of Mick’s mind. The car is very light, however, and with nitrous injection roars around at 1200HP.
