Show homes launch at St Francis Park

This weekend (14th – 15th May), interested purchasers can get a taste of what life could be like at St Francis Park in Haywards Heath, with the opening of two new show homes.
Built by award winning housebuilder Crest Nicholson, St Francis Park consists of two, three and four bedroom houses, with two bedroom apartments due to launch later in 2011.
The show homes have been designed to appeal to a range of buyers, one being a three bedroom house and the other a larger four bedroom family home. The properties are indicative of the first phase of homes to be built at St Francis Park. The three bedroom show home has a contemporary style with neutral colours accented with glamorous accessories. The third bedroom has been styled to highlight its versatility as either a bedroom or a study for professionals looking for a home office.
The larger four bedroom show home has been designed with families in mind and has a more classic theme. To create warmth, walnut furniture has been used alongside metallic fabrics and wallpapers to accent the property’s space and light. One room has been decorated as a child’s bedroom while another has also been converted into a home office/bedroom.
Elaine Owen from Box of Tricks, the interior designers who have styled the homes said: “Both show homes have been designed to appeal to families with children of school age, especially the four bedroom home which is very spacious, and so we were able to use deep rich colours to create a sophisticated look. The three bedroom home is ideal for professionals and commuters who are looking for an escape from the city and can bring their children up away from the hustle and bustle, whilst benefiting from the large areas of space around the development.”
Chris Warner, Sales & Marketing Director at Crest Nicholson, said: “St Francis Park has been very well received in the area and we are delighted to be able to show the interested purchasers what the finished product could look like. The show homes demonstrate how the space and light in the home can be used to create a beautiful countryside family home. Visitors will not only be able to see the homes in all their glory but also the beautiful setting of the development with its tree lined avenues and large open spaces, ideal for a growing family.”
St Francis Park has been styled to give the feel of a country village, with street scenes incorporating a mixture of house styles and sizes built with a range of traditional materials from timber cladding to brick and rendered facades. Homes will have features such as bay windows, balconies, dormer windows and the three storey homes offer lower ground floor living, making each property individual and giving the development an eclectic feel.
St Francis Park is within easy reach of Haywards Heath town centre where residents can find a mix of high street and independent stores. The development also borders mature woodland with fantastic views across the South Downs. For sportier residents, there is the Haywards Heath Golf Club offering an 18-hole course, as well as a selection of leisure centres, gyms and sports clubs in and around the town.
Haywards Heath is extremely well connected with trains to London taking just 45 minutes to an hour, and Brighton and Gatwick airport also close by. In addition, the development is close to both the A23 and M23, taking drivers north to the M25 or south to the coast.
Prices start from £199,950 for a two bedroom apartment and houses range from £244,950 for a two bedroom terraced house to £359,950 for a four bedroom detached house.
