Child-free Little Paddock - An oasis of calm in the New Forest

The summer months are the best in which to enjoy a holiday in the UK but for those without children – or for people like teachers who are surrounded by them all day during term time – finding somewhere peaceful to stay during the school holiday period can be problematical: Little Paddock is the answer.
Adult-only Little Paddock is a collection of 8 Scandinavia-style lodges located close to Ringwood on the doorstep of the New Forest National Park in Hampshire.
Each of the romantic lodges are designed for just two people and are comfortably furnished and fully-equipped for those who are happy to prepare their own meals
However for those who would rather be waited on, close by is the home of Sue and Brett Jones (the owners of the complex) and they are happy to deliver freshly prepared meals or breakfast hampers to the lodges at a supplement (sourced from a local farm shop). Little Paddock also has a licence to sell alcohol and has a terrace bar open for residents at weekends.
There are also three delightful, individually decorated B&B rooms available in the main house, each of which can be privately accessed through their own French doors.
Little Paddock has 2 hot tubs, a swimming pool and a tennis court. Guests can walk directly into Avon Heath Country Park from the back gate and enjoy a pleasant afternoon or evening stroll, leaving the car behind.
The New Forest’s pretty villages with their thatched pubs and wide choice of restaurants are close by, and also just a short drive away are the towns of Bournemouth, Poole, Christchurch, Southampton, Salisbury and Portsmouth.
The price of a three night stay in July and August is from £135 pp (two sharing).
