Three stunning new showhomes are coming soon at Taylor Wimpey’s Cedar Drive development of property for sale in Oldbury.

West Midlands property-seekers will soon find it a whole lot easier to picture themselves living in a brand new home at Taylor Wimpey’s Cedar Drive development of new homes in Oldbury.

That’s because three beautiful new showhomes to appeal to all homebuyers are about to be unveiled at the leading housebuilder’s sought-after development in Rood End Road, offering would-be purchasers in search of houses for sale in Oldbury an enticing look at the lifestyle they could be enjoying.

The fabulous four-bedroom ‘Malvern’, the delightful three-bedroom ‘Kingsford’ and the stylish two-bedroom ‘Woburn’ are being sumptuously fitted out by expert interior designers to showcase the wonderful selection of Oldbury properties to buy at Cedar Drive.

The new showhomes are due to open this spring and would-be movers looking for property in Oldbury are being urged to register their interest now to ensure they are among the first to look around.

Jan Titley, Regional Sales and Marketing Director for Taylor Wimpey, says: “It’s possible to get a realistic idea of what homes at Cedar Drive look like from drawings and plans, but there’s nothing like walking round a sumptuously decorated showhome to get a true flavour of what life here has to offer.

“We are not revealing too much just yet about what these stunning show houses will look like, but property-seekers can be sure that when these delightful homes are officially launched, there will be some truly inspirational interior designs on display.”

Among the new homes that can already by reserved at Cedar Drive is the four-bedroom ‘Malvern’ house, priced from just £164,995 and with part-exchange for qualifying purchasers.

This magnificent family-sized home features a contemporary kitchen/dining room opening through French doors to the private rear garden plus a handy guest cloakroom off the entrance hallway.

Upstairs, the first-floor landing leads to a spacious lounge, a bedroom which could also be used as a study and a main bathroom, while the top floor comprises the master bedroom with en-suite shower room and two further bedrooms. The ‘Malvern’ also features an integral garage.

All new homes at Cedar Drive are completed to a high standard specification, including central heating, double glazing and fitted kitchen with integrated oven, hob and hood.

Taylor Wimpey offers a range of incentives on selected plots, including financial assistance for first-time buyers.

The popular part-exchange scheme is ideal for those with a property to sell. Under this popular intiative, Taylor Wimpey offers customers the market value of their old property (based on the average of independent professional valuations) off the price of selected new homes.

With the leading housebuilder as their guaranteed buyer, the customer has none of the usual property-chain headaches to worry about, and they are free to relax in their current place until they are handed the keys to their new Taylor Wimpey home.

Incentives can be tailored to customers’ individual circumstances and are subject to availability, with full details available from the Sales Executive.

Cedar Drive is a thoughtfully designed new community less than a mile to the east of Oldbury town centre, in a sought-after and well-established residential location with excellent transport links to Birmingham and beyond.

The new homes at Cedar Drive will lie within beautifully landscaped grounds on the site of the former Sampson Works in Rood End Road and are ideally placed to take advantage of the region’s travel network.

Junctions 1 and 2 of the M5 are close by, linking with the M6 and M42, and a choice of railway stations within walking distance offers services into Birmingham city centre in around ten minutes. The Metro rail link from Wolverhampton to Birmingham makes the journey to work even easier.

A wealth of high street shops, pubs and eateries, day-to-day essentials such as doctors’ and dental surgeries, plus a good choice of schools for children of all ages are just a short walk away.

Historic West Smethick Park is just a stone’s throw from the new homes, and boasts a children’s play area, allotments, a pavilion and changing rooms, youth games facilities and sports pitches.

The town’s historic canals are increasingly used for leisure and boating, while a major reclamation project has turned the picturesque Titford Pool into one of the area’s top beauty spots.

To be among the first to receive the latest information about the new showhomes at Cedar Drive, house-hunters can visit the Cedar Drive Sales and Marketing Suite, located off Rood End Road, Oldbury, and open between 10am and 5pm Thursday to Monday.
