Touchwood's local charity appeal

13th May 2011 Print

To mark its forthcoming 10th birthday, Touchwood is inviting Solihull residents to nominate their favourite local cause to become the shopping centre’s charity of choice during its celebrations.

Over the course of the anniversary activity, Touchwood will launch a 10-week drive to help support the chosen charity, by inviting its guests to donate what they can into a large Touchwood ‘T’ in the centre. Touchwood will then match the total its guests raise.

Lucy Burnett, marketing manager at Touchwood, explains: “Our 10th birthday is a big landmark, so we wanted to share our success with one of the fantastic charitable causes we have here in the Midlands.

“We encourage all of our guests to think about which charity they hold dear to their heart, and that they believe truly deserves to benefit from our collection drive. We are open to all suggestions so please get in touch.”

To put forward a charity, please email your suggestion and the reason for your nomination to by Monday 23rd May. Alternatively, you can suggest a charity on Facebook by visiting:
