Reality star Josie eyes Redrow homes in Bristol

Bristolian Big Brother winner Josie Gibson has filmed part of her new reality TV series There’s Something About Josie at a new homes development in the city, with the footage being aired on Channel 5 next week.
The final episode in the three part series, to be aired on Monday, May 23rd, follows Josie, 25, as she looks for a new home at The Bowery, part of Redrow’s new urban village development of Cheswick in Stoke Park.
Redrow sale consultant Jayne Spiller said: “It was lovely to meet Josie and show her the homes we have on offer. She seemed to really like the style of the houses and the location but unfortunately we didn’t have the exact property she wanted ready for when she was looking to move in.”
Josie currently lives in London but is looking for a property in her home town. While at The Bowery, Josie and Jayne chatted in the sale office and the reality star looked around five show homes and viewed plans of the development.
The filming was part of the series which follows Josie’s relationship with fellow Big Brother contestant John James Parton and her glamorous life as she attends film premieres, photo shoots, signings, parties and launching her own perfume and clothing range. It ends next week with John James taking a trip to Australia and Josie deciding on whether to remain in London or return to Bristol.
Josie rose to fame when she entered the Big Brother house in 2010 for Big Brother Series 11 which she went on to win with an overwhelming 77.5% of the vote. Whilst in the house she met John James and shortly after leaving the house they moved in together to a flat in South London.
Before Big Brother, Josie lived in log cabin in her auntie’s farm in Westerleigh, near Yate, having left home at 14. Josie used to be a successful financial sales rep before Big Brother turned her into a TV star.
If Josie did decide to move to Cheswick she would be part of a vibrant village environment being created by Redrow, made up of a number of smaller ‘hamlets’, including The Bowery, Aurora Spring and Tallsticks. Once complete, Cheswick will boast shops, places to eat and all the local amenities of an established residential neighbourhood. More than 200 homes have already been sold.
Two, four and six-bedroom homes at The Bowery are currently priced from £143,995 to £415,995.
