Part exchange helps West Midlands property-seekers

Homebuyer Claire Jenns put an end to her property market nightmare by choosing Part Exchange at Taylor Wimpey’s Frampton View development of new homes in Rushall, Walsall.
After nine months on the property market and no viewings, nursery nurse Claire Jenns was beginning to think her West Midlands property would never sell.
But with the help of Taylor Wimpey North Midlands, she’s just moved in to a brand new two-bedroom house at the Frampton View development of property for sale in in Rushall, Walsall – having sold her former home to the developer in part-exchange.
“I bought a one-bedroom maisonette in Bilston as a first-time purchaser, but last year decided the time was right to move up the property ladder, and nearer to the nursery where I’m deputy manager, in Aldridge,” says Claire (39), reflecting on her discovery of the Taylor Wimpey development of property in Rushall.
“I spent every spare moment looking at properties in the papers and online, but daren’t actually view any of them in case I fell in love with one and couldn’t do anything until I sold my maisonette!
“Then, I was flicking through the local paper and saw Taylor Wimpey’s Frampton View development of houses for sale in Rushall, and so went along to have a look.”
As an off-plan customer, Claire had the pick of the new homes and decided the two-bedroom semi-detached ‘Ashby’ house was the perfect size and style for her.
And with Taylor Wimpey’s part-exchange scheme ready to purchase her Bilston maisonette from her for a fair price, she was free to fall in love with the ‘Ashby’ with no property chain to hold her back.
“When Caroline, the Sales Executive, told me that I could part-exchange my old home with them, I could have kissed her feet because it was such a big weight off my mind,” adds Claire.
“I received a very fair price for my maisonette, and Taylor Wimpey also included free carpets, flooring, a patio and lawn in the price of my new house.
“Because I reserved my home at Frampton View before it was built, I spent a very nice Saturday afternoon choosing all my tiles, flooring, carpets, kitchen units and work surfaces – which is something you just don’t get to do when buying a second-hand home.
“And I’m absolutely thrilled with the finishing touches Taylor Wimpey has added, such as the smart chrome door handles and tiled internal windowsills to match the splashbacks in the bathroom and cloakroom. They’ve thought of everything, and it’s brilliant!”
A two-bedroom ‘Ashby’ house, similar to the one that Claire chose, is available now at Frampton View priced from just £106,245 and is an ideal purchase for first and second-time buyers.
This delightfully designed new home features a spacious lounge/dining room opening through French doors to the private rear garden, a modern kitchen and a handy guest cloakroom off the entrance hallway, two good-sized bedrooms and a bathroom upstairs, plus two allocated parking spaces outside.
As an alternative to the ‘Ashby’, two-bedroom apartments are coming soon, while three-bedroom houses are available to reserve at Frampton View now, from only £123,245.
All new homes at the development are being completed to a high standard specification, including central heating, double glazing and fitted kitchen with integrated oven, hob and hood.
To make moving simple for first-time buyers struggling to find the deposit needed to get onto the property ladder, Taylor Wimpey offers its easystart shared equity scheme at Frampton View, enabling qualifying customers to reserve a new home for 85% of the full purchase price and just a 5% deposit, subject to status.
For those struggling to sell their existing home, the easymover scheme helps to find a buyer and pays the estate agency fees, while many customers, like Claire, can take advantage of the leading housebuilder’s part-exchange scheme and receive a fair price for their current home from Taylor Wimpey, based on the average of three valuations.
Terms and conditions apply to each special incentive, with full details available by contacting or visiting the development.
